you got to have a network cable configured as a null modem. you can get it in any shop that sells cables. when they fix the jack, tell them that it is for connecting 2 computers (as against a computer and a router). It is just a mater of swapping 2 wires.Once you have the cable between the 2 comps, you could set ip addresses for the 2 cards. make sure you have the ips in the same subnet. (like 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2). and you are done !
