actually not. there is a subtle difference between the
two that is not well known, and often ppl use them
interchangeably.

not everybody needs that amount of portability. Some
people just need a machine to act as a desktop most of
the time, but that still doesn't take up a lot of
space and can be moved around easily when needed."

moreover to confuse us all there are the tablet pcs
which might or might not have a keyboard.. and now
laptops are becoming so small, they will soon start
blurring the lines between PDA's and laptops
