I think they have stoped all soliciting feature and we can only be
invited. If you want to see someones webcam, give the request over
the chat and ask him to invite you. More of a push type than of a
pull type.
voice chat was very clear for me. Better than skype even. Not sure
how it will perform on lower bandwidth. But when I just close the
chat window (for I dont text chat while on voice chat), it stops the
voice call. It could have at least warned me so.
Bundling toolbar for IE and firfox with the messenger looks like a
marketing strategy . Trying to push the less popular toolbars with the
popular messenger. I didnt see a choice for not including the
toolbars (may be I wasnt cautious enough).
